The Kindle

Kindle Free Books, Bargains, and Information

The Kindle has gained popularity in recent years. People who swore they loved books are realizing that the format in which the author’s words are delivered isn’t important - reading those words is.

On this website you will find a handful of blog posts talking about the Kindle. You can find them all by clicking on the category titled “Kindle”. They include:

Are Kindles good for older, elderly readers? This post discusses the idea of giving the ereader as a gift to someone who may have poor or weak eyesight.

Can people read faster while using a Kindle? I visited an online forum and asked them if they felt this were true. If you want to increase your reading speed, consider looking at this blog post.

How many free books does Amazon post each month and where can you find them? I created two posts that provides useful links. The posts also talk about other online distributors that sell ebooks which will work on the Kindle. All genres are included in these links – romance, fantasy, mystery, erotica, etc.

Are Kindles good for struggling readers? I am a mom of a boy with dyslexia. He was diagnosed with an LD when he was in second grade. Students with low or poor reading skills need every advantage they can get. My post about ereaders will hopefully help parents, teachers or schools make a decision about buying an ereader.

* Another category listed on the right is “Books and eBooks”. Once or twice a week I post bargain, free, or fun Kindle ebook finds. I encourage you to subscribe to receive JennaScribbles by email and that way you will be notified of my new finds.

Thank you for visiting my website.

  1. Dear Jenna,
Great website! We are two California moms that have co-written a “chick lit” book. It’s on e-reader and paperback. We would love to send you a copy (e-reader?) for your reviewing.

We’d love to chat more about it!
