Are Paula Deen and Michael Groover Divorced?

I love Paula, don’t you? She has such a strong bond with her sons, can stretch the word oil into three syllables and even has festive, beautiful hair!!

(Here’s one of her cookbooks - Paula Deen Celebrates!)

Back in early 2010 the National Enquirer stated Paula and Michael Groover were getting a divorce. They claimed it had to do with his daughter, Michelle. Apparently she and Paula did not get along.

I’ve wondered if this was true so I Googled and researched this rumor. Funny thing is, I can’t find evidence of this. Sure lots of people are mentioning it and talking about it, but nowhere do you find further information. At least – I can’t find anything.

What I did find was this….

Michael Groover has a book out – and it’s still for sale.

My Delicious Life with Paula Deen. If they were divorced, wouldn’t the publisher take it down? Maybe not.

Paula and Michael appeared together in January 1, 2011 when Paula had the honor of being the grand marshal of the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA.

And this one that was taken on January 15, 2011 at a charity event in Indianapolis, IN.

They were also seen together in Miami, FL on February 27, 2011 at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. You can see the pictures HERE. Very fun photos, give them peek. She and Michael were together on stage singing away. Looking mighty happy I might add.

How about the day after the big party? On Sunday, February 28, 2011 she and Micheal held the Paula’s Down Home Cookin’ Gospel Brunch. This picture was taken that day:

So are Paula and Michael divorced? I don’t think so.

Are all of these appearances just for show? They could be …. But I’m guessing no.

They lady has a double-wide butter dish! We love her and I bet Michael does too.
