I’m a full time mom, wife, sister, & friend.  Throw in a little housework, an irritating lapdog, and the need to watch every episode of Forensic Files & I guess you could
call me a busy woman.  There are just not enough hours in the day.  My escape is writing. I hope you enjoy reading my stories and silly blog posts as much as I enjoy writing them.

I have a few stories in the works. There is some fun stuff on the horizon and I hope you like them. I can’t seem to stick to one genre. My WIPS are all over the place. So far I’ve attempted chick lit, young adult, and paranormal. Who knows what I’ll try next.

Here are a few things about me:

- I am a wife and a mom.

- My husband is very tall. I am very short. He tries his best to emphasize that fact often.

- My son makes me laugh everyday and I am so blessed to have him.

- He happens to have dyslexia and ADHD. This blog contains many posts about his journey as a struggling reader. I’ve included tips, suggestions, and book lists.

- I am a self-published author with three ebooks released. See link above for info on Healing Touch and Off Leash. I also got crafty and created Easy Bow Tie Patterns.

- I’m currently unemployed. I’d like to say I’m a full time writer, but the adventure is only earning me enough to buy one Starbucks coffee each morning. I hope to edit this bullet point very soon.

- My shih tzu is nuts and irritating beyond belief. Need an example? Here you go.

- I have seven older brothers and sisters (want one?)

- I love to create check lists and to-do lists. I think Excel is fun.

- My feet appeared in a national fireplace ad and were seen in magazines like Better Homes and Gardens and Redbook. I didn’t get paid one penny for it.

- I have serious issues with spelling, punctuation, and grammar. I am the TYPO QUEEN. My editor is my hero.

- My blog as a mish mash of unrelated stuff. Feel free to follow or just pop in when you can.
